Meguiars Ultimate Compound is amazing

I taped off the area that I was working in so you can see the color difference. It is so much more vibrant and no longer faded. I wish my better camera's battery was charged...These pictures do not do it justice. I'm not doing the front panel, just the door because its got a dent in it and it is getting replaced, so pointless doing anything to it. I just highlighted the blemish so you can see what it looks like.

I highly recommend this product for ANY scratches or blemishes in the paint. It has taken off so many scratches its great. Be prepared for a serious arm workout though and this, if done properly, should take 6-8 hours to do the whole car. It takes about 20mins a panel.
First I clayed it until there was no bumps in the paint from contaminants which takes a while. Next was the Ultimate Compound. You gotta work it in as it is microabrasive. It took me about 2 coats of this stuff.
Oh, as for the Brillo pad deal, I actually saw a woman at the car wash scrubbing her car with one (she actually had a whole box). When confronted, her response was "Why not, they work great on my kitchen pans" hahaha
