I really like the front clear indicators...got the last set of oem from bekkers. Using stealth bulbs front and rear to remove egg yolk effect. Debadged successfully and then detailed the car with full clay, polish, and wax. No residual imprint.

Enzo, my Benzo
I know!! ZEDDY, I just washed my car last week for the first time in probably 5 months. I haven't driven it much so i didn't feel that bad but it's still really weird since I used to wash my car twice a week haha..
Car looks great V9!

Yes its 35%. I try to do a clay and polish twice a year to keep the paint baby soft smooth. This is my absolute favorite car and I often pick it over my other cars to drive so I like to keep it spotless. Its not really showing any signs of aging.

Damn thats weird... I think us 124 owners fall in the same car washing schedules whether it be good or bad... I havent washed mine in about a month and a half. I cant stand it anymore though. Im free this weekend, finally, so i will be taking care of it.

I don't want to hear about monthly cycles converging and synchronizing!

W124s are inherently workhorses. They generally do not get pampered by their owners but just hammer out their duties on a reliable basis day by day!

Well all that buffing pays off when I take my gal out for a night on the town in old faithful...thats why I keep it clean. Somehow this car always gets called to duty for just about everything...even though I have other vehicles to choose from.

I want to take off the 300E badge that is on my 260E, but I'm afraid of residual marks. The paint looks good now that I've done a painstaking detail on her... but I'm still afraid. What did you use to pull it off? Any tips?

I did the following for my debadge. Keep in mind my E is a 94 and added years to the paint etc may change your results.
Expose the decklid to sunlight to warm the paint. I would advise against using a hair dryer. Dental floss very gently and deliberately with a sawing motion through the badge area. DONT rush this part. The older your car is, the higher the risk of the paint coming off with the badge adhesive so be very very careful or you'll end up repainting your entire trunk lid. Then:
clay bar
paint cleaner
show car glaze (meguiars)
S100 carnauba wax (from Harley dealership)

Haha thanks for the compliments on the gf. She is a huge Mercedes enthusiast (she is a german model living in socal...we've been dating almost 3 years!) and wants a CLK black series. Here she is at the AMG academy....lets just say the instructors were sweating and looked green after she got done with the cars....
Thats the new E63 AMG to the left.....I'd still take a w124 500e over it.
