500E CHANGE OF SHOCKS???
WHEN CHANGING THE SHOCKS ON A 500E WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE SLS? HOW DO YOU BLOCK THE LINES? IS THERE A PUMP? IF SO WHAT DO YOU DO WITH IT?
If you really want to delete the SLS, you should remove the lines, tank, acclumalators etc. But at a minimum, you need to replace the power steering pump with one from a 400e, as it does not have the SLS outputs on it

thanx .... but i think my W124 CE have SLS ! coz the frist owner say to me this car was had a Hydraulic shocks but he is Conversion it to a normal Gas shocks !
The W124.051, W124.052 and W124.066 show SLS available in Europe. It also seems that SLS is listed for North American 300CE's in the EPC. A quick look at my 1991 option sheet shows no SLS available for North American 300CE's, so I don't know what to make of the EPC listing. Never seen a 300CE with SLS for sale either, the reservoir would be hard to miss in the engine bay

Can you ID the shocks and how they are mounted? The wagon SLS strut has a bottom ball type joint which may indicate more than one plane of movement.
