Hi there,
I have a 1994 w124.082 e220 7 seater, engin
e m111.960 and I have the old style 16 pin diagnostics socket and would like to confirm the correct definitions for the pin 8 fault codes - can anyone please point me to a link or provide the correct information - some links refer to a cs1000_mb.pdf file but the links no longer work.

1993 300 ce code 17
I have a 93 300 ce conv 3.2l fuel-dls ignition-hfm-sfi my code reader show code 17 which i think is Data exchange malfunction between individual control module.now this is what happen.I was driving fine,ran out of gas.got gas in the tank went to start it,but it was running retarted like and would not move and the asr light went on,the car shut off and my baby want start.It cranks but no spark to the coils.the 30amp fuses behind the battery is hot and fine.3 questions will the asr shut the intire car down?how to reset or test the computer behind battery?what and how do you test Data exchange malfunction between individual control module?

I don't understand definitively where finding codes of my M111 engine...I checked them with the 16 pin connector but nowhere any informations about the 124019 engine, assembled with the E200 from 1992 to 1993...
Anyone for help ???

Fault Codes Australian w124
G'day from the land down under!
Information is sought on fault codes, particularly for the ke jetronic injection system on my 1988 W124 300CE. Its diagnostic socket is the 8 pin circular job. The codes in pdf files in this site are excellent, except they don't seem to cover the Aussie version nor particularly the 1988 model. Another thing is that the only wiring diagram I can find is for USA versions and that's the same as on the CD that I have purchased.
The Australian ke jetronic doesn't have all the sensor inputs that appear on models in other countries and this has made diagnosis fairly trying. The problems of the car are solved, but I would really like to have ready access to the information set out above for next time! Hoping somebody can help. Thanks.
