I don't know the weight of a steering box I'm fairly certain the 300ce SPortline box is just the w124 300e sedan box, so the part itself isn't too rare/expensive.

How about the Cruise Control module? Should be under the dash somewhere in the driver's side footwell. Do you know if it worked properly?

Hey Jason,
as far as the first aid kit, what I needed was the lid in black.
No biggie.

BUT, what I also need, are the moldings / gaskets for both sides where the windows seal with the interior. These run from all along both the front and rear window contact points.
The are made of rubber and a felt like material. The felt is what the window closes against.
Again for both sides, please see picture of the needed part.
The picture does not show the rear window well, but you will see that it goes all the way back. It might be a 2 piece molding per side.
To remove, just pull on them downwards.

I also need these parts for both sides as well. Can't explain, but pics are better than words.

To remove these, you will need to remove the chrome piece by removing the 3 screws.

They have a small snap in thing that holds it in place (no big deal if this breaks). You will see what I mean.

If they are in great shape, I will take all the above mentioned parts if you are OK with the price.
How about $60 including shipping to 92870?
I would think $10-20 for shipping from N.Y. The pieces are flexible and can fit in a box.
I don't mind which way you ship them, as the car will go in for paint in about a week or so.
If yes, I will PM you my address, and let me know how you like to get paid.

Thanks!!!

"I don't know the weight of a steering box I'm fairly certain the 300ce SPortline box is just the w124 300e sedan box, so the part itself isn't too rare/expensive....." Steering box weighes about 15kg. I knew because I recently found a good used one from the UK as mine is RHD. The pitman arm may be different but you can always re-use your own.

Awesome, thank you

Sounds like a good item for Ground/Freight/Flat-rate shipping then.

The steering box of a sportline 300ce is different from a 300e. It is a more aggressive steering box!

I have lots of parts for any 124 model.

I have parted 3 or 4 124s a month for the last 3 years.

Current crop (as well as Jasons's sportline) is:

'92 400E (flat black on black)

'87 300D sedan (grey on saffron tex)

'88 300TE (grey on saffron tex)

'92 300CE M104 CIS (midnight blue on saffron leather-really nice seats!!)

The sportline coupe is black on saffron leather. All of the sheetmetal on the sportline has rust issues.

Plus I have parts for several 500E/E500s (no, I don't have sway bars or Brembo's) But how about a full widebody 500E "kit" (2 front fenders, front bumper, 2 rear fenders & rear bumper for $2500), parts for diesel wagons, every gas sedan, almost every model.

I don't have any cab parts or any 606 diesel '95 parts.

I have plenty of 1st aid kits and I have a black 1st aid kit cover.

I have all the trim pieces etc from a couple of coupe's.

Email me directly dhendy3697@aol.com

thx

david
