Soldsep,

It's not purple, that's probably the lighting in the pic, its pearl charcoal, factory color...

I got the ducktail, and front spoiler first, it was big bucks after having to buy the rims as well, I am not getting the side skirts, they look cheesy and the car is already too low on the sides anyway. I am doing the back bumper next...

With regards to the paints, it's all factory except the bumper and side cladding cause I have them resprayed after winter rock chips....

I have an amazing auto body guy here in Calgary, his name is Ernest at Exotic Cars International

BMWDraparen..

The front spoiler/bumper as well as the rear trunklid spoiler are both AMG..

Soldsep, no I didn't paint it myself, had I it probably would have looked like the car threw up on itself :o

Nice, Nery Nice

That is an excellent automoblie there Zorro. You have my style in exterior designing. I like the rims, excellent choice. I am a fan of W124 body style, I think there the best body benz ever made. You did an awsome job on your 124, one question did you update your look to a 94 or kept it 90s style-the lights, I couldn't really see the front. Hopefully soon I will have pics of my car, its being worked on. Nice job Zorro!!!!

Hey 007,

Thanks for the kind words...

As for the updates, I did 94-95 tailights but the smoke ended up looking pinkish on the top half so i tinted them darker.. Headlights are pre '94 euros without wipers, and i left the hood and grille as well but painted it body color...I find the square headlights and painted larger grille update the front end and are more aggressive and menacing compared to the softer lines of the 94-95...i have oher things to buy for Enzo the Benzo with the $2000 for headlights and hood

W124 is the way to go...nowif i could only change the 3 to a 5

Hey Zorro,

I agree I as well kept the pre94 eurolights, very masculine and sporty I think.

Thanks for the props buddy...

I had the body shop paint the chrome surround and plastic grille insert the same color as the body and then had the chrome surround part covered in 3M clear bra film to protect the paint from chipping off the chrome (which it does quite easily regardless of paint and prep)

Whole thing should be around $50-200 depending on your connection with a body shop...they have to take the whole grille off....

What kind of camera did you use to take those pics (specifically the night shots)?
