2003 E500 front right side suspension

Hello everyone,
I am brand new to the forum, I hope I posted this in the right section?

I have a 2003 E500 and today I was running some errands and I heard a little noise (maybe like a grinding sound) and the car felt funny I pulled into a parking lot got out and looked and the front right side of my car was sitting on top of the tire. I pushed the button to try to raise the car and it would go up but it made a funny noise and then it would go right back down. Does anyone have any ideas at all of what it could be? I have also had a popping noise in the front end when I turn. Would that have anything to do with it? (I did just have the front ball joints replaced about 4 weeks ago)

Thank you!!!!!!
Shawna

You are in the wrong section by

about 10 years.
You air suspension failed. Big problem with that problem prone model. Tow it to an indie mercedes shop and get out the check book. Unfortunately
