Very clean interior
Z32 Front Brakes
Intake
3'' Kakimoto Exhaust
Not sure what springs. Haven't looked yet.
RUCAs
J30 VLSD with 5-bolt axles
Had a tuneup recently. New NGK Iridium Plugs, dis cap/rotor, Z32 fuel filter, timing chain rattle fixed, 5w30 valvoline synthetic, Mobil 1 filter, new Duralast battery.
Was going to drop a VH45 in this but my friend gave me his old 400E and it grew on me. I'm not sure which one to work on now lol :P

It seems silly to stick with stock speakers when they are very much outdated and won't be seen anyway!

Dont buy this car !!!
Look at his Mods:
AMG Generation II Body Kit (Including Front Bumper, AMG Driving Lights, Side Skirts, Rear Bumper & 3-piece trunk spoiler) (Very Rare)
AMG Fender Spacers (Very Rare)
CLK500/CLK550 AMG Sport Wheels 17X7.5 & 17X8.5
AMG C55/C32 Front BBK
Avantegrande Grill
500E500 Front & Rear Sway bars
500E500 Rear Subframe Bushings
300TE Customized Sway Bar Links
Custom Camber Arms
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Vogtland W124 V8 Springs (rare & custom)
Wiechers Sport Front Strut Bar (Very Rare)
Alpine Headunit
Alpine 2X10”
Instead of buying this car spend, just off the top of my head, $3500 for the body kit (plus painting and fitting), $260 for the Bilsteins, $500 for the sway bars (plus fitting - the rear's a pain, bushing alone are $100+), spend a few months finding the Wiechers bar, not sure what the wheels cost but if you do find them they will be at the furthest point in the world from where you are. Then there's the brakes. Don't forget the time your car is off the road debugging everything. Not to mention the little things that add up in a real hurry, alignments, hoses, fasteners, SHIPPING the parts, etc., etc.
Even if you farm out all the work; head gasket and cooling system flush $1500, trans sent to Jonathan, $1500 or so I suspect. Say you have another $3500 plus the asking price and that's high, in the car. You will have an almost new 124 with the proper proven documented great mods and you will KNOW the work has been done.
But if you act now with a little luck you can make a duplicate of this car just in time for the first Thanksgiving snow or you can buy this one and have it done in time for spring.
So don't buy this car, spend 6 months at least not to mention all the aggro trying to put this together yourself so YOU can suffer the depreciation...
This is one of things that makes it worthwhile to take a second, or in my case a first, job for.
Just My 500E Cents.

If you're parting out, I would be interested in the body kit+ducktail spoiler. If not I would be interested also in buying the whole car. You can pm me if you want.

If you decide to part out email me at AMG202BENZ@gmail.com
interested in a few parts especially calipers. Would love to have them on the turbo cossie. Also if you could give me the dimensions on the strut bar to see if it could fit on a 190 that would be great as id be interested in that.
And Carbooks....your a dumbass. Its obvious you are not one to do anything yourself or you would not have stated such stupid prices as you did.

Thank you for the kind words, not to mention your complete display of the English language. Your ability to call people names is amazing, I'm just glad I didn't provoke you into holding your breath, jumping up and down or stomping your feet. That would have really showed us. Unfortunately you only succeeded in showing us that you actually DO know what a dumbass is.
But you are wrong, I actually do a lot of work. I do what I do best, I write checks. Sometimes I get writers cramp.
I wish I had the time to do all the work for myself, but it's more economical for me to pay someone to do the work than it is to do it myself.
As far as the prices being stupid, I agree, every time I ask them a question they just stare at me and don't answer. Unlike the parts dept at the local MB dealer (Loeber) who quoted me, about 2 months ago, about $3500 for the body kit. I just bought Bilstein Sports for $256.56 from Rusty. The sway bars are about $500 for the pair including the misc. parts from MB (Loeber). The local indy shop (Burdi) quoted me $1500 for the head gasket R&R on my 89 300TE including flushing the cooling system with the MB citric acid powder.
Mecedes just had a price increase on Jan 10 or so. I would guess the prices are even higher today.
So I'm off a few dollars in the middle of the night, perhaps that's the true definition of a dumbass to some people....
You would do yourself a great service by using your knowledge to intelligently disagree without resorting to name calling, it's really hard to take anyone seriously and with any degree of credibility when they stoop to calling people names instead of presenting a valid and logical point of view.
If you don't agree with the prices, post some with your sources and let it be.

Why wouldn't you want to buy this car? Carbooks I won't call you a dumbass but i think you may be a little crazy. Chris has done this car right. You know your not going to get a poorly put together car if you were to buy this. If I had the money this would be mine and my motor and tranny would be going in it and mine would be parted. You can't just think that you can find all these parts no matter how much time you have to look.
If anyone has a respectable offer they should make it and take this car away. There is no way just because the motor and transmission are shot that this should be parted out, even though I would definitely be buying parts . I think a respectable offer would be $3000-$3500 range. So then you go source a motor and transmission for what..$1500? Like I said if I had the money to do this and was closer to cali this would have already been done.

Did anyone else read Carbook's post and think, wait, I see what he did there. I've read it as a sarcastic post, as in, by telling us what NOT to do he is actually supporting Chris's sale and underlining how great a deal it is.
I may just be though.
I may just be though.
