I want a used set because i dont want to wait for them to settle. You know when you buy new springs and put them on after a couple of hundred miles the car settles and lowers even more! i am doing a wide body coupe with the oz amg 17's wheels. they are 10" in the rear! so the wheels have to be on the car and the springs have to be set to fleer out the fenders. i dont want to do the car and later it drops more and it starts rubbing. i want it perfect.

Well, why not just buy the H&Rs tomorrow, drive it most of the time until you amass all the parts needed and that way you can be SURE of the quality of the springs?
That is unless you plan to gather the parts right away...

There's a used set of H&R springs with all 4 struts/shocks as well if you need them - there on ebay and the seller is in LA, good luck. Also there are some springs I've never seen before on ebay B&G springs? Has anyone ever heard of these or used them before?

Per your B&G question, I am running them on my 94 Cab, quite a drop, very happy with them. Before buying I scouted them and found some positive comments on Audi forums and elsewhere, included some buried topics here.
My cars include a 95 Cab w Eibach/Bilsteins, a 94 Cab w B&G/Bilsteins, a 94 wagon w H&R/Bilsteins, and a stock Sportline.
Here are 2 threads with MBW posters using and recommending B&G.

It will be a stroke of luck if a used set matches the needs of your car. Springs are chosen according to the weight on the axles - even a radio adds 1 point to the calculations. Look at the H&R, Eibach and Bilstein (B12 kit) websites and you'll see that the spring rates must be matched to your vehicle.
Not all 124s are equal.
They really don't take much time to settle and there's no telling how much abuse a used will have been subjected to.
And when you've installed everything, you might, like me, find that you need to install thicker spring supports to avoid destroying your exhaust.
Bonne chance.
