Right so I'm on my phone so the search function is taking forever and i apologize, it's official I want to lower my car, as i need an alignment anyways..
So I have decided on going with H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein sports shocks/struts.. as i have read that they are a pretty good combo..
Well I want sportline, but it's 2100$ so yeah..

So what components do i need for the drop besides the springs and shocks/struts? (things such as shock pads?)

Also what is better? shocks or struts? don't they serve the same purpose?

I want to lower the car, but I want to maintain a certain level of comfort, so I don't want the car to be super dumped.

Struts = Front Suspension
Shocks = Rear Suspension

You should look into getting new front strut mounts and new front strut boots if they are torn/worn.

I'd stick with your current bump pads to see how it settles out. If it is not to your liking, perhaps get a new set from the dealer and try and adjust it that way.

He's right - spend another $50 and get two strut mounts off ebay, other than that the H&R's and new Bilsteins will lower her right down.

Do you already have the tires/wheels for this set-up? I mean if you're running a 17" wheel with like 60 series tires thats probably not going to work out for you.

Agreed with sajin. Although we use 4 shocks on our cars we don't have struts. Struts are only used in coilover setups.

Really? I'm pretty sure I've got front McPherson struts. I was incredibly confused about this until AMGDave straightened me out. All these years I've been like yeah we have a suspension and stuff. I never knew lol :P

well, i'm just change my original spring with Lorinser and the front stopper replace with Bilstein to get little bit harder the shock still standard oem bilstein

running 225/50/16 in the rear, 205/55/16 in the front.. well one of my tires are 17.. but thats a temp.. but its 225/45/17 in the front.. for some reason 225 doesn't seem to scrape.. but i would like to lower it on the 16's well (17's but i don't have the rims/tires) without having to roll fenders..

At that size 7' wide & 34et, I don't think it needed to roll the fender
