Lowering components!
So I have decided on going with H&R Sport Springs and Bilstein sports shocks/struts.. as i have read that they are a pretty good combo..
Well I want sportline, but it's 2100$ so yeah..
So what components do i need for the drop besides the springs and shocks/struts? (things such as shock pads?)
Also what is better? shocks or struts? don't they serve the same purpose?
I want to lower the car, but I want to maintain a certain level of comfort, so I don't want the car to be super dumped.
Shocks = Rear Suspension
You should look into getting new front strut mounts and new front strut boots if they are torn/worn.
I'd stick with your current bump pads to see how it settles out. If it is not to your liking, perhaps get a new set from the dealer and try and adjust it that way.

Do you already have the tires/wheels for this set-up? I mean if you're running a 17" wheel with like 60 series tires thats probably not going to work out for you.

"Front suspension was a modified McPherson strut where the coil spring is separated from the strut. The rear suspension of the W124 features the Mercedes multi-link axle introduced in 1982 with the Mercedes 190 and which is now standard on many modern cars. Estate cars (and optionally, saloons and coupes) had Citroen-like self-leveling rear suspension with suspension struts rather than shock absorbers, gas-filled suspension spheres to provide damping and an under bonnet pressurizing pump. Unlike the traditional Citroën application Mercedes opted for a fixed ride height and employed rear coil springs to maintain the static ride height when parked" via Wiki
