w124 poly bushes

I have done a few searches on the net and can not find a poly bush kit for the w124. I have spoken with a company here in the UK and they are happy to help develope a complete kit for the w124 but i was wondering if i could get together how many people would be intrested as they can do differing levels of poly so a bush a little firmer than stock to a full nearly solid race bush.
is it of interest to any one as the more people wanting and buying it brings the cost down. Please let me know your thoughts either way.
kind regards jamie

I've also been looking, but no one makes a complete kit...
Put me on the list

I'd be interested so long as the price isn't astronomical. How do these compare to the Sportline bushings?

Before you spend any money and search around for a Sportline to drive have them give you the durometer specs on the material they plan on using and compare them to both stock and sportline. Have them do a compression deflection (C/D) test on the material too.
Much more accurate than "a little firmer," "full race" or "call your dentist."
By using the Butt Dyno you need to take into consideration the age and wear of the items so a side-by-side is next to impossible without completely 100% rebuilding the suspension of several identical cars.

Sort of like cams... "mild street," "full race," "3/4 race" or "rally". Just exactly what does that mean !!!

Once I see the specs I may be interested in a set or two.

Kind Regards,

Ron

I know what you mean fella, i just approached them for my car as once my fully forged m104 is done with the turbo etc it will be a bit of a handful,
its a bit all over the place now with spongy old suspension & vage steering box feel. im trying to firm up the whole car. The company i approached said they will need about 10 cars to start with to make it worth while for the tooling costs, i will have to pay for the initail tooling costs for the first set so i can trial them and make sure they work and work well.

The stock bushings if I recall were never offered, even from AMG in poly...
The reason to go with poly is to replace the rubber as poly has a much better hardness rating

update

On wednesday next week (the 1st april i think) i am dropping all the suspension parts and rear subframe upto the poly bush compnay so the can start to look at it and work out how best to make each bush and how many of each they will require to be made/sold to cover the tooling costs.
kind regards jamie
