Duplicolor Paint
I bought a can I saw thinking it was the right color (and its close) but I am not sure. It is not the same name on the can ... but that could mean nothing.
Thanks
I recently got a perfect match done by Martin Auto color.
Here are the full specs on the 2 oz jar I had made:
Brand code- 33925 Main layer 33925
OEM code- 702.9702. DB702.DB9702
Description- Rauchsilber Met.
Mixing scheme- SHOPLINE (JE)
Price Code- B
VOC Reg-4.3714 Lbs/Gal
VOC Act- 4.3714 Lbs/Gal
Variant- Prime
Revision Date- 12/09/2005
MSDS- JE1
Dont advise using Duplicolor, it will never ever match- go get a color mixed at a auto paint shop, will only cost you 10-15 bucks and is worth it!
Automotive Touchup-
There is a company that has the match- called www.automotivetouchup.com Item number AER-BC (basecoat color 702)
Hope this helps!
Color would be identical to the factory color as it's mixed per the factory spec.
Problem would be with the color your car is now...
Probably have fading and UV deterioration.
Only way you can get an exact match is to bring a small painted panel from your car to an auto paint dealer.
They will put your panel under the analyzer and mix to as close as what you have now.
Anything you use will have to be blended in to the surrounding areas...

If the code matches, the color will match your car.
Fading not included, of course...lol.
