Say Hello to "Fine China"

MBWorld, say hello to the newest edition to the family, Fine China.

I am now the proud owner of this well kept, adult owned, slightly modified 1994 E500 which I took delivery on Wednesday 12, 2010. Originally bought in Hawaii, Fine China lived there for most of it's life with a brief time in Connecticut, Illinois, and now New Jersey. With 108,xxx miles she is a real beauty -- Fine China and I both have to thank Rich W. and Dave M. here on these (and many other) forums for their help and support!

Here are some more photos for you guys to enjoy:

Thanks guys!

EDIT: Two interior photos!

94 Wagon and 94 Cabriolet
Met Frank recently when I saw his 87 diesel wagon...methinks Frank has set the bar for great deals on a 500. Local authorities should be notified, as he virtually stole this machine.

Renntech installed goodies not mentioned in sale is just some of the good news. This machine has been treated like fine china, even if that name comes from the 500's seller. You could almost eat off of almost any surface under the hood. Fine China. Sweet, sweet machine.

I looked at, test drove, and had a PPI done on a 500E here in Hawaii last year that was the same color. I don't think it is the same car but....When I saw it there was work to be done.

lots of cars
I used to have those BBS RX wheels and I suggest you might want to put something else. There are a couple issues with chrome BBS wheels. They crack, peal, and are pretty heavy.

@Declan - thanks

@Rich - You are the reason I own this car -- can't thank you enough for the e-mail one night titled, "dude" with a link to this hot rod; Yes the RENNTech goodies are nice extras - not sure how much performance they provide but once I do a few things with Felipe I will consider getting it dyno'd. I think I got a pretty good deal here continuing to think that more and more as I drive it.

@vexed - wouldn't have been this one, everything points to this car being in Connecticut around 99' for a few years then to Illinois for a while before I bought it. There are a few things to do, rear suspension bushing, shift bushing kit, wheels, headliner, small spot rust -- no real major defects.

@YNVDIZW124 - Personally I don't like chrome wheels, they will be removed either way. I do like BBS though, too bad they are chrome.

Frank its good to see that you are very happy with your E500, you will start to crave driving it and look for ways just to take it out on the open road. Enjoy it man !

@Karl - thank you and what you speak of is a real problem for me. See I had intended to keep this as a weekend cruiser but the more I drive it the more I want to. Im having a problem not driving it. Lol
