So my ac.. it blows cold when it wants to (I'm pretty much out of R-12) but now sometimes it seems to be blowing water? like my whole steering wheel would get sticky and it blows humid from the vents.. any ideas?

Vacuum pods done for? If you get a MityVac you can check them all via the glovebox. You can access all the ends of the vacuum cables to check them although you can only access one physical one from the glovebox. Check out my evaporator thread at the bottom of this page and you'll see the vacuum box that has all (7) cables going into it.
