Things i want to add in the future:

Clear front side/corner markers
Sylvania or Eurolite hid fusion headlight/fog bulbs
Chrome exhaust Tips
you might as well get the whole thing done... tips are gonna cost you probably around $100 plus some type of installation fee.. and a whole custom set up will cost you around $400.

The guy that works on my car is hooking me up, it will cost me around $120 for the tips and install and they are high quality tips

I might end up doing the whole assembly later on but for now i just want to clean up the rear end a bit

I plan on getting tint and possibly a body kit in the future.

And the rims are most likely temporary, I want something in black, but they were too good of a deal to pass up at $50 for the whole set with tires.

Comments?

hey let me ask you, because I've always wondered if I had somehow hooked my headlights up wrong, in the pic with the lights on, you do have the highbeam on correct?

please confirm.

Yes my highbeams are on.

The thing is, I got the wiring scamatic from the "calling chrisdpham" (sorry if i spelled it wrong) thread, and you posted it. So hell, we could both be wrong.

i know what you mean though. It seems like the brights arent actually much brighter than the normal ones. And you'd think that the outter lights would be the normal ones, considering how funny it looks to only have the inner lights on. Not to mention the inner lights on stock assemblies are fog lights.

Most likely just a cheap product. Seriously...look at the condensation in the one picture. Ive had them less than a month, and the passenger light builds up condensation EVERY time I wash my car, and stays for at least 12 hours.

**wishing I would have saved a little longer for projectors**

I don't know if you're willing to try this, with the headlamps being new and all. This was something suggested for that condensation problem:

Heat from the lamp itself will dry the thing out if there's a way for fresh, dry air to get in. Putting the holes in the bottom will let any excess water from rain or whatever drain out first, too.

Small, like about 1/8" (3mm) diameter. Drill 2 or 3 along the bottom most surface of the reflector, near the front where the lens attaches. Don't drill directly into the joint between the lens and reflector, though.

I've done this to several polycarbonate US spec headlights on different vehicles. Most had heat stress cracking across the top part of the lens and would get water in during rain storms. One would actually collect enough water to flood to the point where it would shatter the bulb when you hit a bump or went around a corner.

The goal when making the "fix" is to be unobtrusive and inconspicuous with the drilling. It won't be "invisible". But it's also not something you really notice if you aren't looking for it.

Its not so much condensation that i need to drill holes haha.

Just a light layer on the inside of one assembly. It goes away after a few hours when the lamp heats it. Im assuming it evaporates out the same way it come in.

Not a big deal, just kinda frustrating.

Really? I GET ZERO condensation on my healights. the corners on the other hand came with the weather trim unglued! I had to re-glue the trim back on in order to feel better about myself

I have actually confirmed with the seller and they are on correctly.

meh.

Now that you mention it, the weather stripping on mine was loose too.

I kinda tucked it in until I got the right glue. But never did get the right glue, an it hasnt flopped out for a while so it hasnt bothered me.

Im satisfied overall, but I still do kinda wish I wouldve held out for the projectors. If I could return them and pay the different i would.

Did that **** ever leave you freakin feedback? I know he didnt me.

I think I saw you on the 91 today around the 57. I saw the black grill for sure but I couldnt see what the rims looked like while they were moving.
Were you anywhere near there?

haha.

The meet itself was posted through every section on the forums to remind local members. You missed out!

Anyways, I was on the 91 & 5 earlier today since I was leaving HoI's after work but I was no where near the 57 Freeway.

Where are you located? We should have a photoshoot one day.

That's how it's said everywhere but the south I think.

Anyway, here's a pic of my grill - I just blacked it out and replaced the front badge. My old badge had lost most of it's blue border. I'm also throwing in some pics of the whole car since I haven't posted any in a while.
