I've debadged twice.

As long as you leave the star in center, I think it looks great.

yeah that's what i'm going to do before i paint it. that was just a photo shop crappy one at that.

but completely debadging naw done and i've hated that maybe if i had a 320 yeah but not a 420 plus i feel naked with out it

Black chrome looks wicked. Not black painted chrome, but black chrome. That might work on your white car.

It doesn't look anything special in pictures. You really need to see it in person to get what it looks like. Lexus dealerships sometimes have the rack of wheel options on the showroom floor. The one home by me has a few black chrome options. Maybe other wheel shops or customs shops will have some samples you can look at.

Just picture the luster/look of chrome, but with a black cast to it. Its an odd coating, but it looks pretty awesome. If it was me, I'd have all the chrome bits on the car done in black-chrome to match the trunk labels.

Duplicolor now sells a kit that when sprayed on chrome it will duplicate the black chrome look. Might want to check it out.

yeah i've seen the black chrome and also i've though about make a the chrome trims black but though it will look wierd i will have to picture it again when i go outside hmmm i wonder if it looks good in my head maybe i will have to get black rims as well
