sportline swaybars on a european E200
it already has H&R springs -3.mm
I have ordered Bilstein shocks and recently bought sportline swaybars at MB.
Now that i have the swaybars, they don't really fit my requirements.
front swaybar stock is: A1243235765
it's about 24mm in the centre and 18mm at the ends.
the 'sportline bar' I bought from the dealer is about 25mm and 22mm at the ends.
A1243236065
I even believe the rear is the same altough sportline should be 1mm thicker than stock, so I read. I already measured the swaybars, but will do that again.
the part number of the rear bar I bought is
A124-326-18-65 wich is, if I'm correct the stock size for 6 cilinder models.
I can find rear swaybars that are appearantly stock for my car with part number: A1243261565
discription there says: Oddball rear bar (for CE)
I probably should verify the part numbers of the bars that are currently installed on my car. btw; I get most of my info here:http://w124performance.com/docs/mb/W...4_swaybars.pdf
this might be the sportline mercedes has for the 4-cylinder models, but that's not what I was looking for. I don't know if these bars will make a whole lot of difference

I was wondering wether the Sportline swaybars off a 6-cylinder would fit my car.
because if they do, i could order the A124-323-68-65 Front(27.5mm) and A124-326-19-65 Rear(16.5mm).
don't know if I should/could go stronger (limo / 500E)
another tricky part is that I also ordered a Wiechers strut brace, so I was wondering if i shouldn't get a thicker rear swaybar to compensate the stiffness of the front because now I fear I will get tons of understeer...

Thanks in advance guys, I really hope you can help me because I'm struggling
I'd venture that with most of the weight up front and a fairly weak swaybar in the rear (if you look at width ratio front/rear) you'd probably be okay even with the weichers bar up front.
Also, since you've the m111, I have to ask, why have you not stolen the supercharger off a 2002 C230k Coupe yet? They also have the m111
off course, there is more to it than just installing the supercharger... injection, ignition...
Great tires, too. Although a bit overkill on an N/A M111.

I'm just getting to know the car and platform, so the chassis will have a great setup. the lack of power I will solve by buying a m104 w124 and creating one hell of a project... that's for the future. so now it's all about cornering and handling

still haven't got an answer to wether or not the bigger bars will fit my 4-cylinder car...

I measured the current bars today.
front: 24mm in the middle, 18mm at the ends.
rear: 13mm
new front: 25mm in the middle, 22mm at the ends
new rear: 14.65mm (guessing this is a '15'mm bar)
even tho my car is lighter, these 'sportline's' are probably just the standard bars for 6-cylinder models.

btw: pretty sure they will notice a new engine with supercharger... they're just too damn hard on us.
