Coolant problem

My brother has a 93 300e. It keeps loosing coolant from the passenger side in front of the door, it leaks. Mechanic said no problem with hoses and i changed the thermostat and the housing. What is the problem? Could it be from the radiator cap? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just a thought - but sometimes the overflow bottles develop a leak. For these elusive leaks it sometimes helps to pressurize the cooling system with shop air to uncover the leak. Use no more than 15-20 psi.

Check the coolant level sensor in the coolant recovery tank. I have seen this leak misdiagnosed as a coolant tank leak.
