The front flares are from the 500e (I believe). The rears are flares taken from a Porsche 911. The full info should be earlier on in the thread.

Four years ago I installed a period ( circa 1991 ) TurboTechnics UK twin turbo kit.
Almost three years ago the widebody project was started.
The goal was to build a replica of the C124 AMG widebody, none of which were ever built by AMG North America.
The rear "flares" are early 80's Porsche 911SC which are very close to the shape and contour of the AMG kit.
Many hours spent getting the sheetmetal to replicate the AMG kit.

Looks really good. Wheel fit is perfect. Nice job. Have you checked clearance on compression for the tires and fenders? Or are you just going stiff enough to not move that much? I have been thinking of doing something similar some day. I was thinking of using the front fender flare on the rear like you did on the front.

Really great progress, with the specifications and attention to detail, this one is going to set the curve for all our cars...because it started life as a basic 124, not a world beater...

Suspension not really that stiff with H&R lowering springs and Bilstein HD's..just enough travel for average road surfaces.
Did go one size smaller on the front tires as there was a slight rub.
Inner wheel well sheetmetal was modified based on some old AMG documentation.

Front and rear strut /shock tower bars to keep everything square.
No camber problems even with 10" wide rear wheels.

I've owned it since new in may of 1988 and only put on 67K miles....
It will be driven but never a daily driver or parked anywhere but my garage or with me standing by it...the daily tasks are left up to a G55K !!
