Got a little bit busy with life things , anyway I gathered all the pieces and bits for my project. And I think this year I will go for it and start the project . So far all I did was esthetic but now I got the 5 speed getrag manual trans and a c36 Amg complete car to transplant it to my car . Let me know if you need a m103 single mass flywheel yet. I have one for sale and you will need it for the swap.

I will be swapping in a 5 speed overdrive box into my 3.6 wagon this year.

Contact Brian Murphy at:

http://willowauto.com/index.html

Not sure if he'll want to do the job but if he decides to, the finsihed product will be first class.
You can tell him that Ed suggested him...He did my twin turbo install on my 1988 300CE in 2008.
I believed enough in him to transport my car from Delaware to Chicago !!

To do your swap correctly, it will be expensive...
Better to spend and get a proper install then to save and have problems !

My friend who is a benz expert and I did the swap ourselves. You need to find out if the 16v flywheel will work for the swap. I was under the impression that only the m103 single mass will work. Even then, you have to add the crank trigger magnet to the wheel from a auto flex plate. PM me if you have any questions about the swap.

As long as the car is 93+ the motor swap is just nuts, bolts, and a chip.

Sold the flywheel. It didn't last long as they are very hard to come by.
