500E 93; C200 07
500E W124 LH low voltage /open circuit

Can't start the engine. If I turn the key for 10 secs, there will be couple of backfires. SDS HHT tool shows "LH1, LH2 - do not answer". Please help

Does it have the original wiring harness?

Brand new ETA also in 2012. All fuses on base module inside computer box seem intact. Tried to give extra power by jump cabling through a G500 running. No help

Happened to me recently and it was as easy as a slightly unplugged Crank Position Sensor near the top of the driver-side engine head. Towards the front of the car.

Next guess would be cap & rotors. They are sort of a wear and tear item on the M119 engine.

Fixed it. It was either the cracked and ready to pulverize vacuum line to the ezl, or the caps and rotors. It could of course have been a loose connection to the cps, but I wouldn't know. Replaced the vac line and cleaned up the rotors/caps/plugs and it started beautifully. Would a bad vac line to the ezl by itself cause the engine not to start?
