Aftermarket amp install turn on wire!!!
Hey. So I purchased an Alpine UTE-42 and installed fine, great unit. Question I have is the amp turn on wire. I have a harness that plugs into the MB unit and then into the Alpine harness. I was told that the Amp turn on wire(pink) was to be used for the Antenna as well as the remote turn on wire for a aftermarket sub. Just need someone to confirm that has an aftermarket amp.

harness?? man... i had to do mine the old fashioned way!
I'll check for you at home which wire i used for the amps. the antenna has its own wire but you could splice it into the amp turn on too. My antenna didn't work so i don't have it hooked up any more, but i will check the amp wire for you

LOL ZED. I think I did one car years ago w/o a harness. Can't even think about doing it w/o a harness. BTW, where did you ground your amp? I have it ground next to the battery in the factory spot.
