FS: Mercedes OEM Roof Rack Basic Carrier and Bike Rack

Hey Friends:

I recently sold my W124 (and I do miss Ol' Smokey quite a bit) - and now have a W211 that is giving me heart palpitations.

However, I still have my Roof Rack Basic carrier and Bike Rack (just one rack) at the house.

The set is complete with all parts, keys, and manuals.

I'll be looking for $300 for the complete set.

I'd love to sell as a set, but I if you only need part of it (e.g. the basic carrier or the bike rack) - let me know. We may be able to work something out on that.

I'll charge actual shipping on this - which should be about $25 (based on what I have seen others ship this for).

Any questions? Shoot me a note!

Thanks,

Brian

Out of curiosity, what would you want for just the basic roof rack + keys?

I'd be looking for $225 for the basic rack (and for anyone interested in just the bike rack component - $125 for the rack component).

I have owned these for about 3 years - and they really are great. Perfect for the W124. I am hoping that selling these will get me part of the way towards purchasing the same for my W211. Needless to say, anyone who has the same for W211 and is interested in a trade - I am certainly open to that as well.

Cheers!

I'm in Maryland (Suburban Washington DC), but I am more than happy to ship.

It was actually shipped to me through ebay a few years ago :-)

Interested, but if you have the info of where I can purchase it or model number, that would be fantastic. It's for our 1992 w124 300e.

There are differences in mounting roof racks on a W124 vs C124. The C124 has mounting points where its screwed to the roof, the flip up covers help center the bracket while fastening the rack to the roof.
I am currently looking for a set for my 1995 C124.
