I havent posted in awhile thought I would jump in..Saw a 300ce at the local pic and pull with no drive train..They were gonna junk the body which was super clean..The odometer did say 440k on it..After 2 days of trying to convince him to sell me the shell he caved in..I have 1 1jz vvti laying around so you know me..I got to work.I really miss my old car it was a blast on the road.I tracked the car a few times until someone gave me an offer I couldn,t refuse..
some people especially the purist detest these type of builds.But please take into account that this car was about to be crushed..I have an extra set of 500e flares and bumpers obtained over the years installed.

Personally, I think you're a hero! 1JZ is great choice, considering you're giving the old girl/guy a new life. Less expensive swap or maybe the least expensive swap you can do with lots of parts and options. Single turbo, how many cc/ how big? I hope you're going to do some subtle updating to the interior electronics. What are your options for rear-end and transmission.....So far looking good....
Thanks. unfortunately the whole interior was gone along with drivetrain, suspension and some other pieces when I got it from the salvage yard. Car has a transmission from an SC400 Lexus. The rear end this is a 3:91 ratio I got out of a w124 limo off of eBay Germany which has great Mercedes parts . I welded it to get posi drive. Nothing fancy here guys. This cars basically a Frankenstein with 70% of the parts coming from the junkyard. It has a Volvo fan controller along with a BMW switch in conjunction with a Lincoln Mark 8 17 inch 2 speed fan.
Modifications were required I meant the rotor of the original car itself is wider as well as a longer diameter.There was no way to mod them to fit.I really didnt mind as they were very heavy.I see why mercedes went carbon on there high end sport models.
The rotors on the car now are from a 2001 sl600.If im correct these are the biggest rotors I could find that can fit on a w124.Does anyone know of a bigger size that can fit?
Finally done with the car.Got it tunned, I forgot to mention I have a t3 holset Turbo upgraded by drift motion in the stock location. im currently getting 530hp on the dyno..Ive Been driving the car for the past 2 weeks and im averaging 33mpg without punching it of cousre..Still have a few odds and ends to tend with. I might have to reweld 1 or 2 things but other than that. Car weight was 3,397 with me in it..

Great job. What ecu and are you using? My project is has been ongoing as there is always something I want to upgrade. Next inline ecumaster black and upgrading tranny. That tranny is holding that 530 hp. Maybe I won't upgrade my tranny. I would be happy with 400 hp. Did you upgrade the stall?

I upgraded my rear diff to 3.69. I got it off 1992 sl300 I found in a junk yard. Its a little better of the line compared to the 3.27 previously. I might pick up a r154 this weekend.
