I have a 1987 300E that sounds like it has a marble or something in the driver door. I need to remove the door panel but I want to do it the right way. Please reply with panel removal instructions. Thank you.

Send an email to email123@***.net (replace *** with 'ATT'), and I'll reply to you with the instructions.
Edit: Well, it appears that Jer beat me to it by a few seconds.

I just removed a panel 2days ago all you do is push inward and up at the same time but mind the fact of removing the lock door pin unscrew it, the plastic part that hold the window switch, and the door latch mechanism also when putting the panel back on apply pressure on the armrest/handle to make sure that those clips are put back in place along with the others otherwise youll get in and rip the arm rest off closing the door

I would also make sure I had a new door check strap handy, it is likely that the marble is from the current check strap having worn out.
