MB Harmonic Balancer recall

Stop by South Bay Mercedes to inquire about the recall, and they confirm that it's true, Mercedes would replace harmonic balance on the M112 engine produced on 98-2000.
However, my car (98 E320) is not qualified, turn out that the ballancer broke in 2001 (two months before I bought it) and took out lot of other part along. All was replaced under warranty, and since they put in newly-designed ballancer, there's no need to replace it now.
No wonder the ballancer look to be in good shape. Everytime I stop by BenzBest for oil change, I ask them to inspect the ballancer, and one time asked them to replace it regardless, but they keep telling me that it's in good shape and there's no need to replace. Nice & honest guys

i just got a call responding to an email i sent to mercedes benz north america. the lady stated she got my message and that my car a 99 e430 is not on the list, YET. she said they are reviewing all (enter blaaablaaablaaa) and that it may show up on the recall campaign on a later date. she also volunteered this bit of info. she said that if the work was done prior to the campaign, the the company will review the work to see if it qualifies for a refund. however, she did state "work done at the dealership".

My '98 E320's harmonic balancer looks like it doesn't need replacement. 
I don't see anything on the service records about replacing it but it looks perfectly fine to me. (I check it often).
