Try this place. It's about 10 min from the George Washington Bridge, just up the street from the Benzel Bush Stealership.

Good prices, great finish, lifetime warranty.

its really not 212 motoring that does the tint, its this guy Tom from The Art of Tint. he works out of 212's garage in brooklyn on the weekends and out of a garage in manhattan during the week.

tom tinted my clk and fazooleys e500 with lumar and his cls500 with the huper optik. his work, prices, quality, lead times, etc are all great and i highly recommend him. check out his site and shoot him an email, tell him that matt with the clk from mbworld recommended you and he will hook you up

So its confirmed Matt,he did get the CLS.Outstanding man,,,did he post pics? I am torn now, cause I have a pal at the job who had his 211 e500 done, Lorenzo Custom in the Bx and the fellow is JD.He takes care in the window brush thing so it doesnt mar the tint. You kno what I mean, and I cant make up my mind now. And I remember you recommending the 212 guy too.

what up steve! yea he got it, ray catena finally took back that e500 after all the problems he was having with it. we were coming home from angelinas one night over in annadale and the brakes failed, we couldnt even stop the car and had to come to a stop from a roll.

i heard good things about the guy lorenzo also. i found out about tom/art of tint in an article in benzo magazine like 3 years ago and the whole article was about tinting mb's the right way by removing the window gaskets and relacing with felt or moleskins to prevent the tints from scratching. they also interviewed the guy from lorenzo and had some pics of his quality work too. the only reason i chose tom over lorenzo was i really didnt feel like driving up to the bronx.

chk out this thread i started, me and frank are trying to organize a run down to atlantic city in a few weeks to check out the SEMA show and play some cards. it would be nice to have a caravan shoot down there.

Very excellent Matt,,he must be happy, and i thought he kept the E500,,,a nice coup to get the dlr to take it back.So it seems I cant go wrong with either tinter, having seen Lorenzo's work, and trusting your advice as well,re: Art of tint.Just have to find the time, and thanks for the invite for the AC jaunt.Sounds like a good way to wreck a marriage
