Climate control fan on 97 e320

Climate control fan on 97 e320
The fan on my 97 e320 stops working intermitently. I have checked all fuses. Is there a relay or some other control that could be causing the problem? When working the fan seems to run OK.

Agreed...this sounds like the fan regulator. Just had mine replaced. The no longer make the exact part for this year e class. However, the S Class one works just fine. Pray that your fan is ok, as that piece is big $$$. The regulator cost me about $400 installed.
