The '00+ post-facelift lights are different than the '96-'99 pre-facelift lights.
Swapping in xenons from a pre-facelift model like yours is a plug-and-play operation. I know that forum member diffuzi0n is selling his.

Nothing MB related (sorry)
... and MBenzNL can offer both the pre-updated as well as the updated W210 xenons. New and original MB.

can the xenons be updated?
I have a 1997 E420 with factory Xenons. Are the new model Xenons that Steve would install different than my OEM 1997 ones?
If so I might have Steve put new ones into my car when he comes here and I'll sell Mercedlover my OEMs that will be perfect for him.
hmmmm - Wanda??
