You might want to check out http://www.jerrysmb.com . Jerry did my major a/c repair for a good price and did it in less than two days.

I lived in Orlando for a year but only had cause to see an MB mechanic once and that was a roadside assistance call.
Hope you like Orlando, it's a great town. Watch out for the afternoon thunderstorms, they are a ***** and take some getting used to.

When I bought my C240, there was only one dealer in Orlando. Since then, a second dealer has opened up. The second dealer is closer to my house but doesn't give loaner cars for service unless you bought the car there. So I return to the dealer on the north side for service. I don't know the difference to recommend one dealer over the other. I have only had dealings with MB of Orlando in Maitland. MB of South Orlando is the other dealer. There may be a dealer on the east coast closer to Titusville. I don't know.

You might want to proceed with caution in this area. I've heard that there is a business connection between the two Mercedes dealers in Orlando. I don't know what it is exactly or even if it's true. It could be that the one in South Orlando is a partner with the one in Maitland or something on that level. But my experience with the one in Maitland has turned me completely off visiting any dealer again. They are the most arrogant, price gouging, disrespectful business I personally have ever ran across.
Other than there, I have taken my car to three non-authorixzed MB shops for repair in Orlando. I got bad service but a good price from one - fair service and a high price from another - and superior service at a fair price at the third. I'm not shopping around any more.
Good luck and hope you enjoy Orlando.

If I remember correctly, MB Orlando is now part of the AutoNation chain.
I don't think there is a connection because MB South Orlando told me I couldn't get a loaner car if I took the car I bought at MB Orlando in to them for service. Even for warranty work.
I take my car for service to MB Orlando because it is still under warranty. They also worked with me on nonwarranty issues right after I bought it. And they have always given me a MB loaner. But I have always made the appointment in advance.
I won't be getting a new car from MB Orlando. It's too inconvenient for me. Besides, I won't be getting a new Mercedes. It hasn't been the experience I expected. Part of it has to do with the dealer. But part of it has to do with the car.

Found Someone
I met a someone with a 1985 SEC500 in mint condition and he recommended his mechanic.
This guy was a fanatic about the car being perfect so I am sure this guy must be good.
He is now selling the car due to health issues. I wish I had the extra cash.
Anyone looking?
