Size and offset of 2001 17" E430 sport wheels?

I was wondering the width of 17" E430 sport wheels and what the offset is. Thank you, I'm selling them for a friend.

The offset is typically ET 41 for the 7.5" width wheels and ET37 for the 8" width wheels.

The wheel size and offset are stamped on the inside face of each wheel.

For the sport wheels from the W210 E430, the dimensions are 17x7.5 ET35 all around.

Not sure what Enzo was referring to in the above post. The 17" sport wheels are definitely 8" wide. 235/45 as noted in the last post.

Ruffrob, I've tried the Sumitomo HTR+ all season for winter driving, and they've worked out pretty well. Not Blizzaks, but good enough to get around in light snow conditions. For summer tires, I run Goodyear F1's, which are really nice for a cheap performance tire (the old model GS-D2 really sucked in terms of road noise, but the re-designed GS-D3 is much better).
The operative word is cheap. I'm sure Michelins are the best in all categories, but I don't enjoy the thought of paying almost 2x the price of either of these alternatives. But I drive a lot of miles in a given year, so this may not apply to you.

Enzo is right. My 1998 manual indicates that the E430 sport rims are 17x7.5 ET35. Remember that there were several "sport" rims throughout the W210 production. Some were 17x7.5, some were 17x8.

(When I said earlier that the 7.5" wheels were ET41, I was for some reason thinking of the stock 16x7.5 rims. My mistake.)

I guess it depends on what year car the wheels came off of. My 2000 E430 Sport came with 17x8 wheels with 235/45/17 tires.
