Does anyone know of a good mechanic in northern NJ? I am having trouble with the heater. One told me I need a new heater core and another said it was the dashboard control unit. I am not sure of the integrity of either of these mechanics.

Can anyone recommend a reputable mechanic around the Ridgewood, NJ area?

You may want to have your car checked out by a heater/air conditioning car specialist, much better that way. That's what I did with my car

i'd also recommend you go to an a/c heater specialist. i went to both nanuet and nyc mb dealerships to deal with my issue and after a year and 6 visits, i still have the problem. lol

Try Shadetree Garage in Morristown. It's right off of 287. Hop on 208 North to 287 South to the Lafayette Ave Exit.

Try Brian, owner of Goodyear in downtown Hackensack. His mom owns an W210. He knows the cars inside and out.

Another option is the good people at Globe Tire next to the car wash and bowling alley in Hackensack just off River St. One of the mechanics is a former MB Service repairman. He knows his stuff.

Both offer fair prices and fast, honest service; Globe is probably the most economical.

I guess heating and AC are a different breed than mechanical repair. Now to find one of them.

PS I was speaking to someone locally. Has anyone ever heard of Bell MB Repair in Paramus?

Hey Fathead, This is off the subject, but you seem to know a lot about computers. I've got a wireless router and I can't get onto Google unless I set it to hook up to my neighbor's wireless. any ideas?
