Rear Diff Hex Wrench Size?
Hello, I just joined this forum.
I want to change the reat diff oil on my 2000 E320 4Matic, what is th size of the Hex wrench that goes in the plug?
it looks like it is between 14mm and 19mm. I have to buy this tool (allen wrench)

14 mm internal hex on W211.
Not sure about w210.
Also, be sure to remove the FILL PLUG first, then the DRAIN PLUG. This applies to any vehicle. Diff drain plugs can be "stuck" and will strip out. At least if you have a stuck fill plug you can still drive the car if you discover it BEFORE draining the oil.
Let us know where you find it. Most stores only have up to 10mm, you can rule out Autozone, etc.
