I get sort of a vibrating when i rev it up in park.. when i drive, it kinda shakes a little as if the tires were bad, or out of balance.. it smooths out at 80mph.. I got the tires rebalanced, bought new rims and tires, and it does the same thing.. im not sure what the problem could be.. its a nice well kept car.. please let me know if anyone know anything about this.. Maybe it could be old spark plugs or something.. freakin 12 of em Thanks in advance

The only time my '99 shaked as you describe is right before the harmonic balancer fell apart. Check the front of the harmonic balancer to see if the rubber is falling out. At 180K miles, I am sure it was replaced at least once.

Felt just like a misfire.

Called the dealer, and they said that if the harmonic balancer was not replaced under the recall, I could get it done for free.. i dont know if it was or not because i am not the original owner.. thank you for all the help.. I will give them my VIN on monday and they will tell me.. How much do new motor mounts cost with labor?

The unique design of the 4Matic makes the motor mount replacement much more expensive. Hopefully your mounts aren't the problem!
