do i pass my certification on when to use it godfather?
The Godfather approves. Though one fog light would be more appropriate. In foggy conditions it may create too much of a red glow.Originally Posted by my E430 rocket

realistically, I opine, there aren't enough fog lights rigged as such on US roads. as a result, anytime you encounter car in traffic, stopped, in which one or two red lights are on......stay the hell away from them. move to the left. as infrequently as these are encountered, normal US drivers aren't going to have the neuromuscular reflex to weigh "hmm, are they braking or is it a fog light". so in reality, it may have more to do with light intensity and glare.

Well were the real problem lies is when a jackass is driving with them at night on the freeway, in front of me, when I'm doing 80, and he's doing 85, and I really don't wanna go faster, nor do I wanna go slower, so I'm stuck behind idiot and his ****ing christmas tree.Originally Posted by raymond g-

I'm curious how the cops would react to the "double-rear-foglights-that-look-like-brakelights-but-not-really-braking". I bet they won't be very pleased.
meh not too worried....

I don't think the police would even realize the difference. The older Volvo 240 series as well as other European cars had dual rear fogs. The issues with mistaking the fogs for brake lights caused me to remove the passenger side bulb.
wats funny is that i'm sure u know about the lamp failure warning in the E...well the fogs aparently are not part of that system...but the reverse lights are
