I think the OEM AMG package on 00-02 is the best. I've seen almost every kit out there, at the end, it's the AMG one that still catch my eyes the most

i like the AMG 00-02 that looks the best on these cars. The other kits look to me like aftermarket kits while the AMG looks perfect with the nice factory look.

I'm looking myself for that kit...where did you find it and how much are you getting it for?

I like the AMG look too and will also be looking for a kit very soon (already got AMG 18" Monoblocks). Just a classic look.

are you going to change your hood, fenders, hood supports etc for the front bumper? or are you going to cut the top of the 00-02 amg bumper and install it? I have a 00-02 bumper thats been laying around in my garage but I am unsure if I want to cut it to fit.

I too think the 00-02 AMG kit is tops. But, after all is said and done, it comes down to personal preference. Good luck....

Go with the Wald. Too many of the AMG kitted machines on the road. You definitely want a kit to make you stand out from the bunch. That's the one that I was going to go with before I sold my bad-boy.

If you end up going with the 00+ AMG front bumper please post pictures, I don't think I have seen pictures of a 00+ AMG front bumper on a 96-99 w210.

not worth the money to make it look a 00+ on a pre 00

Where to buy though??

I have a 97 e420, and was thinking the same thing - to get a bodykit, but it seems as though they are difficult to locate some of the more classy looking kits.

Could anyone recommend any websites that sell any of the kits aforementioned (wald, brabus, amg, lorinser, etc.)

Personally I like the look of the Lorinser and Carlsson, but can't find these two kits ANYWHERE for sale. Only a rear fender or something at most, and I have some Lorinser 19" LM-1 that would go well with it. Oldie but goodie rims!!

I have the AMG kit and I think it looks pretty good, although I would have added some vertical sheet metal to the side skirts behind the rear wheels.

And one poster above mentioned that AMG is too common. In my state, I have never seen another one in 7 years of ownership. Not a single one.

$1500 installed for a wald kit seems like a very cheap price-unless it's a replica kit or something.

speaking of replica......if anyone is interested in the lorinser kit for a w210, i came across these fenders on ebay, but am weary on the quality....anyone have experience or know the ppl who make these?
