how many Catalytic Converters on the w210, 2? cause im ordering new magnaflow Catalytic Converters, and was wondering if i should get 1 or 2.
o ya i guess it depends on what model, i have a 97 e420.

You Have Two PRE Cats at the Exhaust manifolds (one per side)
And TWO Cat Converters under the car (one per side)

i've been told by other people that there is a gain in performance, but mainly im doing it for a better exhaust sound, but if anybody knows if the magnaflow catalyic converters add in performance, please let us know.

You will get a nice increase in sound if you remove the resonators also, and maybe even a few hp.

well im removing the resonators, but i was wondering about any gain in hp from replacing the old catalytic conerters with magnaflow ones, i know that they will make the exhaust note really nice.
