Bistein B12 vs HR Cup Kit vs other
Hello,
i would like to know, from experience, what is the best suspensions ( cup kit if possible ) to the W210. I don't want coilovers.
Also heard that the Eibach Pro-Kit is a good suspension... i don't know ...
if it was a W201, i would know ... H&R Cup Kit ( pic below, the black car)
Thank you for the help

I assume you're in Europe, so the Eibach's you will get are progressive (spacing) springs which gives you the benefit of comfort at low speeds and performance at high speeds - the US version Eibachs are much harsher I understand. Combined with Bilstein sport/sprint (as they are called in Europe) shocks, much of the original ride comfort is preserved at normal pace and much much better handling.
H&Rs give a much lower stance and are harder than the Eibachs so if your roads are quite bumpy or with lots of potholes or drainage covers, then they're probably not recommended, although handling will also be improved on relatively even road surfaces...then, if the car hops alot on bumpy roads, naturally tire grip, hence handling deteriorates.
KW has an adjustible system, but as with anything adjustible, they'll tend not to be as lasting.

Again, it depends if you are in the US or Europe/Asia. Mine (Euro spec car with Euro Eibachs) gave me a drop of about one inch (also Euro spec cars are lower than the US versions). With #1 pads, I now have about 3/4 finger gap between the top of the tire and fender.

I have H & R springs with Koni Adjustable shocks, MB #2 pads and a K-Mac rear camber kit. Car is nice and stiff, it does not bounce all over the place. 1 finger in the front and 1/2 finger in the rear. I am riding on stock rims right now however I am saving for 19' rims staggered, House payment comes first.
You could also air-bag it.

sorry, i did not mentioned ... i'm from Portugal > Europe.
well, i really don't know ... The Cup Kit from HR will turn the car too stiff won't it? I mean, in my W201 is stiff like hell!!!!!
So i'm going for something with more confort ... but with a nice drop ... 1 to 2 fingers on the front, for wheel gap.
tell me your thoughts
