I am not familiar w/ that brand... I've used Interstate battery for my '96 E320 and never had any problems. Good luck

The Interstate website doesn't readily show the E420, but I did find it... and MTP-93 shows as the correct battery for the 4.2 V8. The MTP-91 is for the 3.2 six-cylinder. Sorry for the confusion...

I just checked the receipt of my Interstate battery, it's MTP-93. I paid $80.95 back in September of 2001... and my car is '96 E320
