98 e320 key wont turn at all !!!???? HELP!!!!!!
Help me...please help me....
I drove the car into the driveway yesterday, went to drive it again, put the key in and it won't turn at all.
Sometimes it will recognize the key other times it won't, even when it does recognize it, it still won't turn.
I put in a brand new battery still no good.
The MB roadside assist guy says its the key.
Any other suggestions??
Also if it is the key (smartkey) is there any other way of getting a new key without the dealer?

i had the same proble with my 2000 e-320, i went to the dealer...they charged me $155.00. I'm not sure of any other way to go. I think this is one thing where there dealers got ya.
