Sunroof lubrication

I've seen in the past that the MB lube was suggested on the pivot points and tracks. My question is would plain old CRC Industrial spray also do the job? This stuff is like WD40, but longer lasting. I use it on the sliding patio door tracks and such.

I'd stick with the approved product. It's unlike any lube I've seen.

Use only the OE MB Sunroof lube as Most other spray on lube will Gum up and cause problems ... its best to remove the guides and clean them BEFORE using the MB Sunroof lube
