Talking New guy here...

Finally found a board that suits me! Little info on myself, or my MBZ rather:

1997 E320
Silver w/ Tan Interior
19" Carlsson 2/5 Brilliant
Lorinser Full Body Kit
Kenwood Excelon Monitor
Custom DTM Exhaust
H&R Springs
Bilstein Sport Shocks
[car is beyond slammed, i have to raise it up...but for some reason still rides great]

That's about it. Don't plan on doing much else except maybe a nice sound system...

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line and say what's up to my fellow MB'ers!!!

Allan

can you post a picture of your car. I want to lower my car and want to see what you have done. Let me know what it cost you (not for the wheels/tires) for the lowering springs, installation, etc. Thanks

i'll take a pic today when it's a bit sunnier outside [it's pretty muggy outside right now], and post it later.

cheers-

I really like this car, though I personally would raise it just a bit. I had an old Firebird that looked like that, but only because the leaf springs broke in half.

Don't you get caught up on angles and bumps? like even going into a driveway?

thanks for all the complements guys!

e320: i got my kit for about 3G's...that includes the front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, impact panels, and foglights. [here's the shop info: ASP 650.758.6500, ask for Victor...tell em Allan sent ya!]

rbrenton: my car is pretty slammed, i want to raise it up a bit, but i'm not in a hurry. it rides great, doesn't scrape too bad [just gotta know how to drive it; angling, etc].In any case, i'm probably gonna raise it up in the next six months or so.

i just noticed my car looks kinda funny without the headrests! heh...

[nice emoticon fuzzo!]

DroppedE,

That is a BAD *** ride!! I cannot belive how tucked those rims are its crazy. Are they 8.5s all around? BTW 3G's for a Lorinser kit is pretty nicely priced, including paint and install?

Lorinser kits are made of polyurethane.
