97,800 miles and performing my 100K service - very exciting I realize...
Subscribe$500 worth of fluids, filters, belts, plugs, wipers, you name it I got it, plus new lower balljoints all going in tomorrow am. Going to fix the random bulb failures as well as the rear sunshade. That should hold me for another 60k mi! I only went 1300 miles over the service interval, oh well.
Hopefully, my sunroof parts will arrive this week as it is supposed to rain next week here in Dallas.

Sounds like you got a decent deal there. we have a 01 E320 w/ app. 100K miles as well in the family, and it runs better than my TL.

i bought a 97 E420 w/ 100k miles and did just about every fluid replacement there is. ATF alone cost me $90.. ouch! but sure beats going to the dealer
If so good to see you around again.......I'm ALEV8!

Yeah I had the super tricked black 540, then the M5, now the E430 and it is not a DIY crowd on par with the E39 boys.......I am still in touch with RevHigh, Tyrone and Dan Karr, even play golf weekly with Grumpy these days. Had a nice round today. Won $6 off him.
Nice cars though these Benzes.

u kno this was the first car I ever managed to change the spark plugs without the help of a mechanic and the feeling alone itself was great
BTW does anyone here know what is done at a 130'000 KM Service?? Coz I've had the car for around 6 months and I haven't changed the transmission fluid yet
