Headlight Moisture - need to remove

Picked up a bunch of Moisture in the Headlight and Highbeam. Heat from bulbs really gets the condesation to build up and light output very much reduced. Source of moistue is my doing from an underhood cleaning.

Is it big issue to remove and replace lens/assembly so I can dry everything out?

I gave it a look over and it looks like it's a matter of releasing couple of key fastners or a big pain in the a**.

if factory light units, front lens should be quick and easy removal. if aftermarket,
it may prove more challenging. or, if you can remove as many bulbs and just
aim hair dryer into the ports, that will work. one time, i just set on low heat
and went for cup of coffee and read the paper. came back to cleared lens.

You can also keep the lights on while driving, or you can get a Grouppe M intake that will keep you headlights dry. Trust me, it works. or you can just go get aftermarket projector headlights

air intake will do little to remove headlight moisture induced through engine
cleaning. aftermarket projectors have high complaint ratio due to poor sealing
against condensation and direct water entry.

The headlights come sealed, but the problem is they are not sealed well enough. Go to a local auto shop, or pep boys, and pick up some high temperature silicone that can withstand high temperatures. Then apply a bead of silicone where the lens meets the plastic housing in the back. Apply it all the way around on both headlights and you should be fine. Has it already leaked for you? I had mine in for a couple months, then I took them out and sealed them, and never had a leak.

Okay, before you get them in, just apply the silicone, wait a couple hours, then install them.
