Question Can I get wheels with these specs to fit on my W210?

Wheels:
FRONT: 18" x 8.5" ET44
REAR: 18" x 9.5" ET46

Car:
Basic E320 W210 (no 4Matic or auto-level suspension)

I understand about offsets and I know these offsets and widths are quite a bit different from what is recommended for W210.

With that in mind, I'd like to know:

A) Is it possible to get these wheels to work using H&R spacers?
B) If so, what width spacer?
C) What are the pros/cons of such? (wheels poking out of fenders, etc...)

I'm not worried about bolts or tire sizes yet (one step at a time). Luke, I will definitely order from Tire Rack (I always do). I just want to verify that the wheels will fit before I buy them. If it's not possible to fit them, discussing tires and bolts now would be pointless.

Thanks in advance.

There are no pros.

Cons
You're using spacers
You're increasing rolling resistance and decreasing fuel economy
You're decreasing wet/snow traction
You will need low-profile tires, which are susceptable to
-increased wheel damage
-rough ride
-flat spotting from sitting
You're just paying for ego--and paying more--because you will NEVER experience increased performance.

Yeah yeah. I know all of this. This ain't my first rodeo when it comes to wide, low-profile wheels.

Do you know if they will fit?

from a simplistic point of view....

- your offsets for your car avg 35mm
- you're going 10mm over
- the rims and tires will stick in even more, and may rub
- spacers are needed. exactly how thick depends on actual tire, but figure 10mm
- will it rub fender? possibly, but again, this depends on rubber (different designs
do vary by millimeters)
- do you plan to lower? any spring mods? any shock mods? blah blah....
- weigh the aesthetics
- trust Luke's Force. he's in a position to guarantee performance and has much
experience.

Guys, I'm not looking for speculation or opinions. I need facts.

Facts like:

- "Yes they will fit using [x]mm spacers"
- "So-and-so did this on his W210 and it worked fine."

or

- "No they won't fit because there is not enough width in the wheel well to handle them."
- - "So-and-so tried this on his W210 and it didn't work."

Tires aren't an issue. I will buy the proper tires when the time comes.
These won't be my "winter" wheels.
This car isn't a daily driver.

Big difference on offset...everyone is right...using spacer is not recommendable....35mm would be a good choice..

I understand that using spacers is not recommended. I know the pros and cons of using spacers. I have used them before with great success on a previous car:

(Audi B5 A6 4.2)

Will the wheels in my original post fit on my W210 or not? If so, how?

about those rims

well bro, umm my dad juss put some 18's on his s500 w220 with the same specsas thosse wheels u wanna add, the recommended sizes are a lot different for the e-class but i believe it should work it wil be no problem for the rear wheels, i'm worried about the fronts, they may rub when u make hard turns, i have 225/55.r16 sl wheels on my e420 those barely make it when turning, when i park the car, and turn the wheels hard right or left, getout of your car and take a look at the chamber room, i get about a half inch of space, and that's if, my car doesn't move up and down, on bumpy terain while driving, i believe that it should be fine, if not, u may want to go a little more with narrow tires on the front, the rears should def. fit. a real way to test this fact, is too look at the specs of an e55 w210, they use pretty wide wheels, i think the widest you can go int he front is 235 bro, if u need more help let me know good luck man!
