Gonna need a new wheel-options
So my options are to get a set of take-off rims with tires. I really dont want anything flashy, maybe some monoblocks---but where should I look? I saw some on ebay. I want to stay 17-18". I will not lower the car either.
Has anybody run the CLS 500 wheel on the E210? how does it look?
I'd first check out the wheels at Tire Rack to see if they have any you'd like.
As far as take offs, I personally would stick to wheels from the W210 E, W203 C, and W208 & W209 CLK. They bolt on directly.
Wheels from other models, such as the CLS, don't usually fit due to offset differences and also require special mounting hardware. Those wheels were also designed for 14mm lugs, whereas your car has 12mm... If the offsets are compatible, you'd need to order special 12x1.5 R14 lug bolts, which aren't particularly cheap. Search the archives for "lug bolts"; you'll find everything you need to know.
You might also try wheels from the Wheel Collision Center in PA. (google it)

Would this be a good choice? I really like the OEM+ look and decided that im not going to try and do any CLS/E500 spt wheels just because of the hassle and would like to stay in the relatively inexpensive 17" range.

Traditional look, I don't like bling rims, or slammed cars. You don't need to lower it to go with 18's. I'm switching out my rear 225/40/R18 to 275/35/R18 tires on Wed/Thurs, I'll post some pics.
I also like the Brabus knockoffs, they look nice too.
