try this first....via the SEARCH feature.
this is a popular mod so you might want to read up on their experiences first.

I tried both versions: the flat one, and the wave one. Neither worth putting in your car. The ilumination is simply aweful, the viewing angle is very narrow. The LED that they use is nowhere as good/bright as the one used in OEM car (Honda, Infinity, BMW), worse, I don't think retrofit OEM LED into it is feasible nor economical at all.

Lucky that the vendor offer me a chance to try out, so I didn't have to waste any money on them.

Even if you look for something to make your car different, look for other mod, don't go w/ this. Brake light & tailight is important, it helps both you and other driver from bumping into each other. With a lousy new-style headlight, if you don't drive much at night, or driver at well lid area, you're still fine, or simply upgrade OEM projector & xenon set, then you're good to go. With a lousy tailight, the only way you'll be fine is that you ....keep your car parked.

I have a set of the waved ones on my car. The viewing angle is limited from the side but overall they arent bad, especially at night. Personally however I would rather have stock 00+ tails as I personally prefer the OEM look. I think its just a matter of preference...

I installed a pair that I bought on eBay about a year ago. I have had no problems with them. They are plenty bright (Both running lights, reverse lights, blinkers, and break lights). The picture was taken with the lights on as well as the rear fog lamps on.
I was reluctant to buy them as there was one person that had problems with the "lamp out" message being displayed after installation. I'm guessing that they must have other wire issues as mine plugged right into the OE sockets.

Just so you know ...

In most of the world, there are three trim levels of E-class:

Classic
Elegance
Avantgarde

USA-spec W210 (except AMG) are to Elegance spec. (It says so on VMI.)

BOTH Avantgarde and AMGs got smoked taillights and more properly you have Avantgarde replicas.

I ordered OE Avantgarde taillights for my black wagon from Speed Autoteile, and they really look good.

For W211, there isn't smoked, but Avantgarde and AMG versions have LED brake lights. They are also a plug-and-play modification.
