How to check Front Seat Occupant Sensor?

Is there a way to check the front seat occupant sensor? I found a break in the wire and fixed it. I am still getting the light. I was wondering if I could disconnect the yellow connector under the seat and meter the wires to see if the sensor is bad.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

How do I reset the light? Maybe I fixed it but I need to clear the code from the computer? Will pulling the power cable work?

Any help please?

Is there any way to check the seat recognition sensor? I found a wire cut and repaired it. But I still have the SRS light and the air bag light on the console all the time.

Found out the sensor is $250. Is there anyway to check the sensor say with a voltmeter before I go and buy one?

Also, I ordered a OBDII reader. Will that tell me the code for the sensor and can I reset that light with the reader?

Help please!

By the way, I left the battery disconnected all night and that did not reset the light.

My light comes on, but at times goes off depending on how my wife is sitting. Leads me to believe that you did not correct the issue. Once the issue is corrected, I would think, based on my experience with the light going off occassionally while in motion with a passenger seated, that it will go off on it's own.

For $250 I'll take another look at it.
