To stagger or not to stagger...
Thanks
the real and practical world of commuter driving, the benefits are so small that
it's all but measurable, aesthetics only, or wasted.
Having all four corners match allow the owner to rotate and prolong the useful-
ness of the tires. Tires are likely to be cheaper as well, presuming that all-four
are of the smaller size. Larger footprint means larger weight and traction.....
with a corresponding flip side and potential for lower fuel economy. The 'more
aggressive' stance is noticeable only by car enthusiasts.
Having blathered all that, I have staggered E55 take offs. I liked the rims.
i have a set of 19 on my car with 8.5 in front and 10" in the rear.
If you want to go with 19" rims, i have a set of monoblocks 8.5" front and
9.5" rears, I have 3 front wheels and 3 rear wheels,
i am selling all 6 for $1200....

I agree it probably does not make any performance difference... all my puny 217 horses don't care what size tire is in back, it can't spin them anyway.
